The RC Social Entrepreneurship Club (RC SEC) traveled to Erzurum over the spring break for a special workshop with Bilkent Erzurum Laboratory School (BELS), on April 1-3. During the program, both schools worked on Design Thinking to find sustainable solutions for the problems they observed in their communities.
Three social entrepreneurs also joined the program to inspire and help students expand their visions on social entrepreneurship: Ayşe Sabuncu RC 04 (Founder of ImpactHub), Zubin Sharma (Founder of Project Potential, India) and Zeynep Delen (Founder of Ege'de Atölye). As students were working on their solutions, they got the chance to interact one-on-one with the social entrepreneurs to get feedback on their projects. The project teams shared their fully developed prototypes with the whole group and got feedback from each other. RC students left Erzurum as an ever-growing team that is eager to drive social change in their society.
The workshop was the second part of a program between RC SEC and BELS. The first part took place in the fall, with BELS visiting RC.
